Rules and Information

Rules v3

x. Before anything else, please speak in english or at least dragonish in this server.

1. Please have respect for our members and staff, no matter what religion/gender/orientation/race/preferred pronouns/(etc.) they are. Also don’t spam or annoy people on purpose. Likewise, please don't freak out if someone makes a simple mistake. Address the problem and solve it calmly.

2. Try not to start or continue pointless/harsh arguments. We want to keep the server a friendly place to chat. If me or any other staff member or founder tell you to drop it, then don’t talk about it anymore please.

3. Cursing is definitely allowed, but try to restrain yourself if you do so. We don’t want all of our text channels filled to the brim with profanity. It tends to be annoying.

4. Absolutely no explicit imagery or “ERP” in ANY of our channels. No one wants to see that here. Our staff and I will try to moderate it as best we can.

5. Mild roleplay is allowed pretty much anywhere, but try to keep it tame. Thank you!

6. Keep unrelated chitchat in our “ＣＯＮＴＥＮＴ” category to a minimum. We’d rather you be talking about the content posted there. Also, in #🎨artsy-gallery, when you post drawings/music/writing/other content YOU have created/contributed to, tell us what you did! Make sure to try to provide a source if there are none!

7. Try your best to keep the server positive... but if you need to talk about negative, heavy, or personal topics, you may open up in #💨venting-deck (some people may not have access to this channel). Also, If you notice anyone feeling down, please try your best to pick them back up.

8. There are some Discord features that are easy to abuse or spam, such as: excessive reactions to multiple messages, spoiler formatting for every letter, joining and leaving voice channels constantly, or discord usernames/nicknames that are hard to ping or address. We would appreciate it if you did NOT abuse or spam any features like this. Thank you!

9. Please try not to intentionally hijack conversations (i.e. interrupting, talking about something completely unrelated that no one else would really understand, thinking out loud). Some people can see this as either obnoxious, or feel like you're trying to make the conversation all about you... any of which could lead to people either getting frustrated with you or feeling anxious. This goes for text chat AND voice chat too. Along with this, please make sure you're typing in the correct channel for things. (#🔇voice-chat is not a second general, as it's typically for people who are talking in an actual voice chat.)
